Sarah Brandner

Art and designing have been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. I have my Master of Fine Arts in scenic and lighting design from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Liberal Arts from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

I have enjoyed working on a variety of productions creating unique, interesting, and engaging environments to facilitate the written story. Exhibit design is another way of creating an engaging environment to assist in the storytelling, but with the patron being immersed in the design. Inspiring imagination and curiosity through visual design elements and storytelling is at the heart my work.

Just as the poet uses words, the designer uses visual terms to express the story, to make the audience sense the story on another level.
