About Me
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in acting, directing, and technical theatre, along with an art minor from Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM). I also have a Master of Liberal Arts from MSUM. My thesis is entitled Scenic and Lighting Design: 17th–19th Centuries.
As an active member of the theatre community, there have been over 45 of my lighting designs produced along with almost 30 scenic designs. I have also been the technical director for over 30 productions.
In the past couple of years my interest in teaching has grown, and I have really enjoyed working with student production crews. It is awesome to see other aspiring artists start to understand the design process. I hope to have more opportunities to expand on this aspect of theatre in the future.
